Aaaaaand we're back! Due to being back at school for the first time in years, I've been falling behind a little bit on updating the site...and by a little bit I mean it's been a fucking age. But don't worry guys, I'm back with a new review! And a few updates; next month I'll have a bucket load of reviews straight from the IFI's Horrorthon Film Festival and constant updates from the Fest.

So check out the new review over to the right and keep checking back for more updates, news and reviews!!!

In Review...

Just to let you guys know, I've been frantically scribbling down my reviews for the past few weeks and sending them on to the epic guys over at Infini-Tropolis. But due to everyone being so fucking busy all the time (I myself start school again in a week), none have hit the net yet, but fear not; there are 3 coming very soon.

I've got my opinions of The Good, The Bad And The Ugly & Action Jackson & The Vengeance Trilogy on the way, so stay tuned and I'll get them up as soon as possible!

First Snaps From David Fincher's 'Dragon Tattoo'!!

Thanks to the guys over at RooneyMara.net, we've got the first pictures of Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

Am I the only one that thinks this is the perfect example of pointless filmmaking? I mean fuck, the sequel to the original TGWTDT isn't even out a week in cinemas. Does the general movie-going populace need another version of the story immediately?

Three New Promos For AMC's The Walking Dead!

Halloween is nearly upon us, folks. And instead of drinking my stomach lining away, this year I plan on getting a six-pack, popcorn and some chews and sitting down to catch Frank Darabont's pilot episode to The Walking Dead (which will air November 1st on FXUK for us guys across the pond).

In the run up to the series start, AMC have released a new set or promos for the show. These are looking pretty fucking excellent if you ask me, albeit a bit short...but then I wouldn't want to see too much I guess.

Check them out here, courtesy of Brad Miska over at Bloody-Disgusting.

Can we all agree that this is the best thing to happen in the Horror genre in 20 odd years? I think so...

Hobo With A Shotgun Unrated Trailer!!!

Just woke up to some pretty awesome news. The guys over at AICN have scored an exclusive look at the new Unrated Trailer for Hobo With A Shotgun! Check out there Trailer here.

Hobo started it's life as a faux Grindhouse trailer which was selected by Robert Rodriguez to be shown along with his Double-Feature, Grindhouse. With the hype the trailer received, director Jason Eisener was able to procure funding to create a feature length flick! And it looks fucking awesome. I for one am very excited to see Rutger Hauer snarl, grit his teeth and pump everyone full o' lead.

Clash Of The Titans 2!!!

Oigh...I grow tiresome of these shit, low-rent, underachieving Hollywood flicks that make a bunch of money, then a sequel is green lit immediately. When will it stop? Not anytime soon reports THR, as Jonathon Liebesman has signed on the dotted line to direct Clash Of The Titans 2.

Now, in the article it explains that the studio behind Clash is attempting to right their wrongs by actually filming in 3D this time, instead of opting for a quick cash-grab, post 3D makeover. Liebesman's other credits include Battle: Los Angeles, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning & Darkness Falls. So in other words; 2 shit films and 1 yet to be released. I sincerely hope this guy can prove me wrong.

WB To Bring The Sandman To Life!!!

Warner Bros' have wised up and snatched onto the rights for an adaptation of the beloved Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. The company are hoping to create an hour long TV series, ala, AMC's The Walking Dead.

The exclusive comes from Heat Vision Blog, and they also note that Eric Kripke (creator of CW's Supernatural) has been tapped to write/produce. Neither WB nor Kripke would elaborate on this news, so we'll have to wait and see if WB has the balls to capitalize on this.

First Image From Fright Night!

The original Fright Night holds a special place in my heart, so this is a film I'm very skeptical of. Although I do like the cast (Anton Yelchin, Chris Mintz Plasse & David Tennant), I just don't know. Will it keep it's gooey 80's campish gore? Or will it be trimmed to PG-13? Will Colin Farrell be any good as a Vampire?

Anyway, JoBlo landed this exclusive, so without further adieu, David Tennant as the Vampire Hunter - Peter Vincent;

Is it me, or does he look a bit more Cradle-Of-Filth than Saturday-Night-TV-Host?

Precious Star Joins M:I4!

A quick little news tidbit for you guys; Paula Patton (Precious) has been cast as the female lead in the 4th Mission: Impossible flick. Patton will star alongside Jeremy Renner and Tom Cruise, and is directed by Brad Bird (making his live-action directorial debut).

It'll be interesting to see how Paramount fades out Cruise (which they inevitably will) and brings in Renner to take over the franchise.
